O-Shot

The O-Shot

The O-Shot Advantage

In previous blogs we introduced you to Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP). PRP has been used for decades as a safe, effective way to accelerate healing of injuries, tramatic wounds, and surgery in a variety of medical specialties including dentistry, orthopedics, and sports medicine. Along with speeding up the healing process, PRP has been shown to encourage new tissue grown. PRP is a component of the process that activates stem cells to create newly functioning cells. Because stem cells can adapt to whatever need the body has, they “tell” the body to grow new skin, collagen, muscle, nerves, etc. in the area needed.

Dr. Charles Runels recognized that the same therapy being used in other medical specialties could have applications for the sexual health and well-being of both men and women, and the first O-Shot ® was performed in 2011 in his office with remarkable results. The O-Shot ® was created to treat women who have insufficient orgasms or orgasmic response, pain during intercourse, and urinary incontinence issues. The trademarked process uses PRP to rejuvenate and encourage new growth within components of the female orgasmic system, including the clitoris, urethra, Skene’s glands, and vagina. O-Shot

Multiple studies are currently underway determining if PRP and the O-Shot ® specifically can help heal or even reverse debilitating conditions of the female sexual organs. But before these studies are thousands of testimonials from patients and their partners, including the following from a (very excited) husband regarding his wife’s experience with the O-Shot ®:

“…(as a child) she fell on a boys bike badly with the cross bar on it, and was bleeding down there bad, [never had a bean due to this accident] and has never ever enjoyed cunnilingus until NOW! This makes me very happy. The size of her labia has radically reduced. The distance from the top of the hood to the bottom of the opening is reduced, the opening itself had shrank to a 3rd its normal diameter… Also she can allow me to thrust very hard and vigorously and deeply with NO PAIN, this to her is a miracle in itself. She avoided sometimes due to her expectation of pain, which is now gone! …She can do vigorous work outs with  jumping jacks, and even jog WITHOUT dribble, she is no longer leaking nor feeling the pain she used to feel during the act she felt it also sometimes when running, but not now! She got cured of this pain!”

O-Shot Procedure Only Takes 15 Minutes

The O-Shot ® procedure takes approximately 15 minutes. A strong topical numbing cream is applied to the injection areas, including at the blood draw site. The patient’s blood is placed in an FDA-approved centrifuge to separate the platelet rich plasma from the rest of the blood’s components. Because the PRP is derived directly from the patient’s own blood there is almost zero risk of rejection or infection. A natural activation element is added to the PRP immediately before it is injected, with minimal discomfort to the patient. Some women feel an increase in sensation or sexual desire within a few days; however, most experience the full effects around 2-3 weeks later, when the PRP has spread throughout the organs and begun to create new cells and sensation.
