Priapus Shot (or Priapos) refers to the Greek god of the same name. Priapus was worshipped as a minor god of fertility, gardening and protector of sailors. The most outstanding physical attribute of this god was his constantly erect, oversized penis. This particular characteristic made the Greek god a common character in ancient erotic literature and “obscene” artwork.
The term priapism is now used to describe a medical condition resulting in an erection that lasts longer than a few hours.
